Hi! I'm Lynn Talbott!
I've been a bookkeeper for over 20 years. In the beginning, it offered me the flexibility I needed while raising my kids. Soon enough, it offered me the financial freedom I longed for, without being tied to a cubicle in a large accounting firm. I started my own bookkeeping firm in 2012, and before I knew it, it grew to over ten bookkeepers and one human resources specialist. And then, 10 years later in 2022, I sold my business for over seven figures.
It wasn't easy, to say the least! I made plenty of mistakes, (some very expensive!) and learned many lessons the hard way. But that journey gave me critical insight that I can pass on to other bookkeepers.
